Holy
Scripture fulfillment, not mere imagination
Nation
fight nation
Father
mother, brother sister
Wasting
back to soil they are, one after another
Strange
diseases winning
See the
red fire, the beast has spurt!
Bloody
smell, hang loosely on life’s wall
On
hearts’ noses
The
merciful one, call whoever you want!
Kissing
the soil our knees
Descend
upon your flock, before the wolf kills them all
Sent no
one, sent nothing
Even the
chariot of fire
Created and given the breath of
life by Peter Ngila, a Journalism student at Mt. Kenya University, Nairobi
campus
